Hey there! Iβm Shona, a fully qualified makeup artist with 15 years of experience, specialising in bridal and special occasion makeup. Based in the picturesque Matakana, just an hour north of Auckland, Iβm a proud sixth-generation Matakana native. I have two lovely little girls and an incredibly supportive husband.
In 2020, I made my dream a reality by establishing my makeup studio, βLittle Takatu.β This space, designed with love and a touch chic style, allows me to share my passion with beautiful brides, offering bespoke packages for bridal groups to prepare for their big day in a serene, stylish environment.

Located a ten-minute drive from TΔwharanui Regional Park, celebrated for its stunning coastal walking trails and pristine white sand beaches, and a short seven-minute drive from Matakana Village, Little Takatu serves as the quintessential retreat for those seeking a tranquil weekend or an extended holiday in the Matakana/TΔwharanui area.
